Bride of Christ

Spirit filled or Spirit Vacant?

Remember what the Apostles said to you, “In the last days there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.  But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God".  Jude 1:18-21ESV

There are all kinds of signs of the, “last days”.   Some will be in the heavens above… red moons and falling stars!   But the ones most obvious, yet, perhaps most overlooked, are the ones in this passage.    They are the signs seen in people, “Scoffers following their own ungodly passions… causing divisions… worldly people”!

Now I ask you… as bad as those signs are, what else could you expect from those who are devoid of the Spirit?    Recently, I wrote to remind us of the need to keep away from things that would take God’s place in our hearts.   If you don’t, what remains is the result of the Spirit of God vacating the premises.

Beloved there are only two spirits… One Holy and one NOT!   Which one you are full of is not difficult to discover.   After all… the buildings condition reflects who lives there!

Today, ask the Lord, Jesus Christ for the promise of the Father.  As it is written, …"behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you, But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high”.  [Lk. 24:49]

Dear one… don’t be caught with a sign on your temple that says, “Spirit Vacancy”!
