In times of trouble, may the Lord answer your cry.
May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. Psalm 20:1 NLT
There was a silly old Smothers Brothers ballad that told of a man who fell into a vat of chocolate. When asked what he did when he fell into the chocolate, his reply was, “I yelled FIRE when I fell into the chocolate”. And asked Why he yelled, “FIRE”, his reply was, “Well no one would have come and rescued me if I would have yelled, “CHOCOLATE”!
Dear one, it is not WHAT you yell when you are in trouble, it is WHO you cry out too. His Name is Jesus! He alone is the King of kings and Lord of lords! Of Him alone it is written, “There is no other Name under heaven by which men must be saved”.
Not every day is a day of trouble, but if today is one of those days, beloved, cry out to the One who can answer your cry and keep you “safe from all harm"
