Stick to our job!

The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away.   Matt. 13:24-25  NASB

The story goes on to say that the “sowers" were concerned about those darned ol tares wrecking the wheat.   They went and complained to the Lord of the Harvest, “Someone sowed tares in the wheat… what should we do… should we go out and pluck out the tares?”

But the master of the harvest said, “NO… wait until the harvest… otherwise you will only rip up the wheat along with the tares.”  He knew his servants pretty well!   He know that in their zeal to rip out the fruitless plants, they would do a lot of damage to the healthy ones.

Hear the wise Master say, “an enemy has done this”.   Why would an enemy do that?  Simple… So the Lords laborers will focus more on tares than wheat.  Its a strategy that has worked pretty well.   How many healthy plants have been destroyed through the ministry of “Tare Rippers"??????

Dear ones… our job is to sow the seed… not point out or even pull out tares!   Does the Lord of Harvest not know that there are tares in the wheat?  Listen…

"Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn”.   Matt. 13:30

Beloved, you are a wheat sower.. not a tare reaper!   There is coming a time when it will be a grim job for the reapers… but that's not our job!   Jesus makes our job easy and joyful!   So… let’s just stick to our job!
