New Plumage for Old Eagles!

Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.  Psalm
103:5NASB

This Psalm lists the benefits of my soul when I, “bless the Lord whole heartedly”!   That means I will bless the Lord with, “all that is within me”.   Service, worship, prayer, fellowship with believers, witness to the unbelievers, giving… NOTHING is done half-heartedly!

Dear one, we have so much for our soul to, “Bless the Lord” for, don’t we.   He has forgiven my sins, healed my diseases, redeemed my life from the pit, and crowned my life with lovingkindness and compassion.

I have seen all of these, but now that I am growing older, the next benefit seems to be the one I need today.   He, “renews my youth like the eagle”!   That doesn’t mean that I re-hatch and become a new bird!!  No, but it does mean that as old as this eagle is, I can still get some new feathers from time to time.  New feathers give me the look of youthfulness… and makes my flight so much better.

As it is written, "Those who wait upon the Lord, will renew their strength… they will mount up with wings like an eagle”!

Don’t get your feathers ruffled!    Bless the Lord with a whole heart… put on some new plumage… and start flying again!
