The Lord is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.
This is my God, and I will praise him— Ex. 15:2 NLT
Victory songs always begin with a cry of despair... a cry to the Lord for deliverance from the bondage and slavery to Pharaoh. God ALWAYS hears that cry! Help was on the way!
Then during the rescue there is a cry of panic, fear and doubt... Listen... They cried out to the Lord, and they said to Moses, “Why did you bring us out here to die in the wilderness"?? [Gen. 14:9] He heard that cry too, but fears and doubts still didn't stop the rescue!
It's the way it works! We cry for help, and when it comes, we complain because it seems to get worser before it gets better.
Beloved... He heard your cry! He is leading you out of the bondage of slavery. He hasn't forgotten you! He knows where you are! He knows where your enemy is too!
God knows how to rescue you. He doesn't need any help! As it is written, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today" [Gen. 14:13] Read the rest of the story!
My Father and yours always wins! You just as well start singing!
